An employee had reported an incident of workplace harassment and violence in a confined space, raising concerns about staff safety, organizational reputation, and employee morale. Our Approach

Juno Risk’s investigator responded promptly, taking a structured and impartial approach to fact-finding. With no witnesses able to corroborate the incident, and the involved employee deeply affected, our investigator facilitated open communication and guided the government agency through a constructive process. They ensured all voices were heard and respected, helping the organization navigate a sensitive situation with clarity and transparency.

Outcome

The investigation concluded with a clear and objective report. After thoroughly reviewing all evidence and speaking with all parties involved, it was determined that the incident did not meet the definition of workplace harassment and violence under the Canada Labour Code. The findings provided the organization with clarity and a documented record of the situation, allowing it to close the matter formally and take follow-up actions in accordance with internal procedures.
